It's so important for us to tell others about the fact that Jesus gave
His life so that we might have Eternal Life. I have used the word Men to
mean Mankind i.e. men and women.
The Good News about Jesus can be read in the Bible, in particular Matthew,
Mark, Luke and John.
TELL
-
Tell of God's Son, who came to the earth.
Tell of the King, and of His lowly birth.
Tell how He grew, and the things that he said,
Tell of His works, and the life that He led.
Tell how He mingled with ordinary men.
Tell of His miracles, again and again.
Tell of the time when He walked on the water.
Tell of the widows son, Lazarus and Jairus's daughter.
Tell how men schemed to cause Him strife,
Tell how they plotted to take His life.
Tell how Judas betrayed Him with a kiss.
Tell how He Loved even after this.
Tell how they mocked Him and platted a crown,
Tell how they scoffed whilst putting Him down.
Tell how they slapped Him and spat in His face,
Tell how they whipped Him in utter disgrace.
Tell how the people all shouting Hosanna,
Now calling crucify Him in bloodthirsty manner.
Tell how they took Him and nailed Him to a tree,
Tell how He suffered for you and for me.
Tell how two others on the right and the left,
Were crucified too for murder and theft.
Tell how one accepted that Jesus was Christ,
And how the other rejected his advice.
Tell how they offered a drink on a stem,
Tell how He said Father forgive them.
Tell of the people who watched as He died,
Tell of the triumph as "It is finished He cried".
Tell how Mary wept for her Master,
Tell how she couldn't run any faster.
Tell how Peter and John heard the news,
Tell of the Joy that they couldn't lose.
Tell of the men on the Emaus road,
Tell of how He lightened their load.
Tell of the disciples in the upper room,
Tell of Thomas' doubts that did loom.
Tell of His command that He gave to Men,
To tell of the good news again and again.
Tell how He ascended up in a cloud,
Tell how He'll return again with angelic crowd.

Tell, Tell, Tell
