Silver and Gold I do not have................ Acts 3: 6

Acts Chapter Three
-
Hey up! do you remember what's written.
About owd Peter and John.
It were three in the afternoon like.
Do you remember where it was that they'd gone.
-
They were going. through the Beautiful gate like,.
'Cos They'd gone to the temple to pray,
When a cripple happened to clock 'em.
He were carried, and left there each day.
-
He begged 'em to give him some brass like,
Just like you'd think that he would.
'Cos there were no Social Security in them days,
Nah. the good old days wasn't that good.
-
Owd John He looks right at the cripple.
And for that matter so does owd Pete.
It doesn't say they looked in his eyes like.
But then it doesn't say they looked at his feet.
-
Look at us. says Peter quite sharp like,
'Cos it was Peter that clocked him first.
So the cripple gives them his attention.
Expecting brass, like he were ready to burst.
-
What happened next was unexpected.
Far beyond his wildest dreams..
Healing for him was impossible,
And walking impossible seems.
-
Then Peter said to the beggar,
I haven't any silver or gold.
But what I do have, I give you.
And he said this next bit very bold.
-
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
And taking him by the right hand,
He said Walk. His feet and ankles became stronger,
And the beggar was able to stand.
-
He jumped to his feet and began walking,
And he went with them to the temple court.
Walking and jumping and praising God.
But then you'd think that he ought.
-
Now all those that saw him were amazed like,
Wandering how walking and jumping he could be.
The Beautiful Temple Gate cripple,
Wasn't this same fellow he?
-
Now who was it that healed the cripple,
Was it Peter, or John, can you see?
Well the answer is written in the Bible.
Quite plainly in Acts Chapter Three.
