The Spring
-
The Daffodils flow too and fro,
Hoping that we have no snow.
Wellies have been put away.
Hoping for a warmer day.
Now that spring is here.
-
We see the lovely Crocuses pop through,
In White, Purple, Yellow and every other hue.
With Snowdrops and Primroses to follow,
All found within the hedgerow and hollow.
Now that Spring is here.
-
Then we now must have a shower,
To make the Cherry tree to flower.
It's flowers are in pink and White.
It is a most wonderful sight.
Now that Spring is here.
-
The meadows are Iush and Green,
Where little white Daises will soon be seen.
The little Lambs merrily skipping,
And Farmers are busy dipping and clipping.
Now that Spring is here.
-
Trees that once were dead and bare,
Now show us that life is there.
The Sun and Rain have done their bit,
And Green leaves open bit by bit.
Now that Spring is here.
