Big Old Moon
-
Big old moon in the sky,
lighting up the night.
Twinkling stars seem so shy,
though some they seem so bright.
-
Silvery clouds floating by,
sailing as on a sea.
Hear the trees rustling in the breeze'
oh so peacefully.
-
Can it be He made all this,
just for us to see?
Just how much He loves us so,
for eternity.
-
Sun shines bright in the sky,
bringing warmth and light to bear,
Light so bright can't see the stars,
though I know that there still there.
-
Sky so blue grass so green,
air so still and calm.
Dark clouds gather in the sky,
there's no need for alarm.
-
Thunder storm is over now,
lightning was so bright,
Never ceases to amaze,
whether it's day or night.
-
In the stillness left behind,
time to recollect.
Those of us who see Gods love,
others to tell should not neglect.
