ANSWER TO PRAYER

You've prayed so hard I've got to say,
I really heard you loud today.
You want so much, it could be hard.
The man in your life, has no clean card.

Weeks and weeks of praying,
About the man I love.
Was always answered in my prayers
Saying don't you push 'n' shove

Weeks turned into Years,
I thought I'd been forgot.
I really felt like saying,
Thanks an awful lot.
-
Then I heard a whisper,
Right into my ear.
It said I'm going to bring you,
lots of happy cheer.
-
Just wait a little while,
Much longer it wont be.
Something's about to happen,
We've both worked hard you see.
-
One day it really happened,
My husband came to me.
He said "I want to give my life to Jesus;
I want to be set free'.
-
Well l couldn't believe my ears,
What my husband said to me.
You should have seen me jumping,
just like a crazy flea..
-
That was on a Tuesday,
On Friday out we went.
He gave his life to Jesus,
Whilst camping in our tent.
-
We got home late on Saturday,
And we were all done in.
We all sat down and had a drink,
To reflect on what had bin.
-
The following day was really great,
It actually had sunk in.
Something I'd been praying for,
Was just about to begin.
-
Later on that Sunday,
We were both to be baptised.
We were going to be together,
In our Lord Jesus' eyes.
-
It may have taken years,
For my answer of prayer to come.
But we BOTH thank Him mightily now,
For all the work he's done.
