The One sent from above,
And all because He wanted to.

Not in a Palace born,
But a stable all forlorn,

In Gods plan it had been written,
That for you He should be smitten,
And all because He wanted to.

Though He cried for another way,
Your debt He chose to pay,
And all because He wanted to.

No one took His life you see,
He gave it willingly,
And all because He wanted to.

He suffered for you there,
No anaesthetic, the pain He had to bear,
And all because He wanted to.

A Love that you can feel,
Taste it, it's so real,
And all because He wants you to.
